Kiss Couture & Beauty is a leading edge team of makeup & hair artists, Paula Sidhu-Grewal & Deena Safi in Vancouver, Canada. As artists, we have a great passion for makeup & hair and LOVE what we do and bring this passion and expertise to all our clients. We are certified makeup artists since 2004 from Blanche Macdonald Centre, and have worked in the makeup industry at numerous fashion & bridal shows, photoshoots, film sets, music videos, brides & grads.
Our philosophy at Kiss Couture & Beauty is to use makeup to enhance a woman’s natural features and allow her to discover her hidden beauty and look her best. Our mission is to provide a professional, friendly and customized service to our clients incorporating the latest makeup, hair and fashion trends.
Kiss Couture & Beauty provides mobile and in-studio makeup & hair services for weddings, engagements, grads & parties, fashion shows, portfolio/headshots, film, TV & music video, commercial prints, makeup lessons and makeup parties, as well as being your personal makeup shopper.

 Inspired by my father's love in the arts it seemed natural I chose to work in a creative field. I started my career in makeup in 2003 in Vancouver BC, after completing a program in makeup artistry at renowned Blanche Macdonald Centre. In 2007, I attended Ray's Hair Academy and upgraded my hair styling techniques. My makeup philosophy has always been "less is more", whether simple or glamorous; I create a personalized look for each of my clients by listening to their ideas and needs while using the best products available for a long lasting makeup.
I helped launch a cosmetic line called INGLOT Canada Cosmetics in Vancouver in 2006, which I managed for over a year and a half. During this time, I excelled in my techniques as an artist and my abilities as a cosmetic retail store manager. I have had the opportunity to work with some wonderful photographers, make up artists, and stylists at various fashion shows and events, and have learnt a lot from my experiences. I also immensely enjoy bridal hair and make, as it is extremely rewarding when you feel like you have contributed to such an important event in someone's life.
Currently my focus is on my company Kiss and my goal is to serve all my clients with passion and care to translate into reality that very unique look that exists in their minds.
I believe a true master is always a student and for me the path to learning never ends.

 Makeup has been a great passion of mine, ever since I was a teenager and began experimenting with drugstore products like Revlon and Loreal. I love the power makeup has to transform a woman’s look and image from average to astonishing, and in turn empowers women to feel great about themselves. Whether you are looking to achieve a natural daytime, high-fashion or a more dramatic evening look, my goal as a makeup & hair artist is to work with my clients to achieve the look that they desire and make them feel great and stand out for their “Red Carpet” event. I feel so rewarded being part of a client’s cherished memories, and it makes it so worthwhile when I hear their words “Wow, I can’t believe I look so great. Thank you so much.”
For my training, I went to Blanche Macdonald and completed a Makeup Artistry Diploma in 2004. I took additional hair training from Ray’s Hair Academy in 2007. Since I graduated I have worked at various events, including Indian and Western brides, fashion shows, model portfolio shoots, beauty/party makeups, and graduates. As well I have worked at the cosmetic retail counters: Make Up Forever in 2007, and M.A.C in 2005. I always thrive on meeting and learning from other artists and a highlight for me this year was attending a Mickey Contractor workshop, a Bollywood Master.
